The adjustable brass bush allows for easy adjustment, while the stainless-steel guard locks in your preferred slice thickness. Dishwasher Safe: You can safely pop the handle in the dishwasher, but we recommend hand washing the blade to maintain its sharpness.
Wipe Blade Clean: After each use, gently wipe the stainless-steel blade with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Adjust With Care: When changing the slice thickness, hold the saw steady and adjust the brass bush slowly to avoid wear.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach, as this may damage the recycled plastic handle or brass fitting.
Occasional Lubrication: Apply a tiny drop of food-safe mineral oil or similar to the brass sliding mechanism if it feels stiff over time.
Store Safely: Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, to protect the blade and preserve the marbled finish.

Great, Australian made product. High quality. Small critique is because the side metal guide is curved, it doesn't really allow you to cut all the way to the base of the bread - I admit, this may be my stupidity.

I love the bread knife because it cuts every slice perfectly and with few bread crumbs. My husband would like it if the slice wasn’t so thick, he does hold the knife out a bit to get a thinner cut.

The knife works very well and the thickness adjuster slides nicely in the bushes. The only negative is that the recycled plastic handle looks quite unfinished. If I was ordering another I’d go for the wooden handles, just because it’s aesthetically more attractive

This bread knife cuts fresh bread so well BUT it is amazingly sharp - keep away from children. Son and husband have already cut themselves!!! We treat it with the utmost respect and are looking to find some sort of sheath to store it in when not in use.
