Material: Compressed wood pulp
Made in: Germany
Use: For proofing and shaping dough before baking
Care: Shake out excess flour; do not soak or dishwasher clean
Suitable for: 1 kg loaves
Shape: Round
Inner dimensions: approx. 22 cm diameter, depth 8.5 cm
Material: Compressed wood pulp fibre
Made in Germany
Season Before First Use: Dust the inside with rice flour, leave 30 minutes, shake out. Repeat 2–3 times to build a non-stick layer.
No Water or Dishwasher: Wood pulp bannetons must never be soaked or submerged — this causes cracking and warping.
After Each Use: Shake out excess flour and place upside down to air dry completely before storing.
Brush Out Residue: Use a stiff pastry brush or Banneton Cleaning Brush to gently remove any stuck dough.
Dry Storage Only: Store in a dry, well-ventilated spot. Sealed containers trap moisture and can encourage mould.
Remove Mould Naturally: If mould appears, place the banneton in direct sunlight for a few hours — UV light naturally sanitises it.

Gave this to my husband for Father’s Day and he’s so happy with it. Used it for the first time today and he says it’s perfect!
These bags are brilliant. In the freezer, on the shelf, regardless of type of bread. They allow you to roll it up and remove most of the air, dont make the bread damp.
Storing my sliced sourdough in the freezer has never been better.
This product is perfect for my fresh baked sourdough bread. Keeps the bread fresher longer and is attractive sitting on my counter. I love the fact that they are made from recycled plastic bags. Great product. I even order the freezer bags.
I loved these bags. I washed the cloth bag on hand wash cold and sadly it shrunk. The bags are Greta quality and work as described except for the shrinking which greatly decreased the amount of bread my cloth bag can now hold.
And authentic earth friendly company from thereusable linen bread bag to the packaging and instructional brochure. I love that they give you the opportunity to be a product tester for new products. The bread bag is high-quality and a great size for all types of bread. Definitely considering their freezer bag too.
Been away on holiday so hadn't used it. First loaf of sour dough is now in my bag. Nice and big. Very happy with my purchase brought three so the other two for family members.
This bread saw was purchased as a present for my mother. I told her about the one I had purchased and she said that she had been looking for one of these for decades. Her sister had something similar 50 years ago, and she has never been able to find one. Until now. When she receives this as a present, she will be very happy.
